its not difficult but it is very detailed

have to be like a good doctor
have lots of patience

lots of rewards
lots of love

and you can sidepass bridless like this horse
bridless/bridless_horse_riding_sara_shalda_.JPG
this is my clydesdale
he can sidepass and passage bridless
he can also two tempe and
fly his changes

so you see
sidepassing is really not a very big deal at all

once  you know how to properly do it
90 %
of the riders i see
do not know how to properly side pass

thats a shame
its really stressful to horses

sara started at a very young age

A  horses  spirit  is  pure  freedom.
Until  we  change  that
We  are  their  masters.

We  hold  their  hearts
in  our  hands

A  precious  package  To  be  honored
Worshiped.
Respected.

They  are  our  teachers
Our  healers

It  is  up  to  us  to  decide
If  we  want  to  Repay  that  kindness.

this is how we train our horses.

love and praise
 goes a long long ways.

if you
want your horse truly loved
you want them trained
 with us

sara's thoughts

from what I see

The horse spirits
 can chose to

or Not to,
  interact with us.

I have seen some horses
that really did not care
 whether their spirit companions
were there or not

hmmmmm...Interesting

There are a lot of people like that too,,, Huh  ?

The nice thing about walking into this world is
there are no rules.
 There are no absolutes.

We are all free to be the person
we want to be.

We are all free to use our spirit
anyway we want.

We are free to make choices
and change our minds the next day
if it does not feel right.

you should give your horse
this same option

We are free to start over
and start anew

each day if we wish.

We are free to apologize
as many times as we want.

We are free of guilt
 if we choose to be.

 Once you make the decision
to start traveling into
 this new bright kingdom

the horse spirits will have a
 newfound respect for you

and understand
you are doing your best
even in your weak ugly moments

horse_communicator_sara_shalda_.jpg

the horse
is a powerful entity

it can influence and even change
the course of your life.

they can heal us

combining our spirit
with their spirit
we can heal them.

they keep our secrets
our shame
our dreams
our hearts safe

to love them fully

something often impossible
in between two people

horses are trustworthy
they know nothing else

they are honest
will never judge you

don't care if your hair is gray
or if you are fat

they only want to love you
 and get love

what if the whole world was like this....?

hmmmm

nice thought ey...?

i try to live my life like this

and make every moment count

   Sara  !

We are so happy for your English win at world clyde Your saddleseat outfit was the most gorgous iv ever seen
We watched YOUR class and cheered crazy loud for you I don’t know how poor clyde stayed so calm with all those idiots in the ring about running him over….geeeeze…wow…You two were so calm and beautiful-
I’m sending you the video So many people were taking photos of you the flashes were blinding   !
Not one single step wrong---even amidst the chaos of the other horses They need to take the riding classes more serious and quit playing that stupid music  !You really stuck out--You were the only one calm quiet and perfectly perfectly collected at all times Everyone in the whole corner where we were sitting was awestruck by you You so much deserved to win the western class as well The judge must have wrote down the wrong number   Everyone wanted to protest your second place You deserved to win that  western class by 10000 %  I could get really mad for your injustice if I really let it get to me Please come to Madison again    We love you and clyde I took lots of photos you you and the poaparazzi too cool  Sending them soon

Dear sara
My name is Hillary, I met you at Madison world Clydesdale show last weekend. My husband who is a farrier
keeps asking me to write to you.He cannot stop talking about how beautiful your horses feet were. They were perfect he said    The only one at the show that I liked He understands why the others were shod differently, but still hates it. Oh and good job winning English riding You deserve the western class too hands down and we will both have shown horses a long time and you are by far the most pleasant and lovely pair we have ever witnesses    My husband went out and bought a video camera just to get you on it pretty so pretty we kept saying He lopes as slow as the slowest dressage horses--You are totally the most amazing trainer in the world and Clyde is the most talented draft horses in the world as well I just can’t  imagine what it must feel like to ride on Clyde I could go on and on and on but I was only one of the hundreds around you in front of the coliseum i have new motivation to ride my clyde thanks to you Thank you for your kindness  Lots of people  were truly touched by your sweet  horse so patient and kind We are telling our friends about your clinic All the best to you

If they have another World in Madison, I'll see you there for sure!  I'll keep an eye on your website,

It's a joy to watch you ride big Clyde. Oh, and your website is very, very cool.  I love your theory that horses that are treated well treat people well. This has always been my way of thinking. love them and treat them well, so they repay me a million times over by trusting and loving me :)  So funny that you share my Philosophy.  Not too many trainers do.And I love your porch shot with Clyde on it!! :) It's obvious you do truly treat the horses like part of the family. Hope to see you again some day!Good luck with things,

Diane

Oh, I"m so happy for you. Sara, you can make any horse a winner and can make any horse look, seem and be amazing! Kimmi and I were talking about that too- when talking about you going to the competition,

we just kinda looked at each other, chuckled to one another,   and said, "yeah, Sara sure can ride a horse- any horse, for that matter, and damn she's good at it!!"Congratulations- I'm so happy to hear that. I'll check on your website soon, as I imagine you'll be posting some pics up there from the show.
Don't hesitate to send any though- we love seeing you and your horses.   Kate

What a thrill it was to see you ride so beautifully Dressage background perhaps on a Clydesdale! This is the entire reason I drove from  Michigan to see Clydes being ridden and never did I expect the smoothness I see at Dressage shows. Wow, you inspired me more!  it sounds like you believe in patience and consistency over hitting and punishment to which I am thrilled. I would like to take a lesson or lessons with you on your sweet horse Clyde and will be adding that to my Christmas list.

Dear Sara,
Just a note to let you know that the bit arrived in today's mail.   It is beautiful. Thanks so much for making me this bit and giving me such a good deal on it. The cheeks are the same as the one I was gonna send you except that on mine, the metal behind the dots was the rusted brown.  This now gives me three basic bits to use on him and switch around, just like you do.  Many thanks again.

hi sara its me Julie Wesson from from the show last week...
this is a really weird email so im just going to come out and say this because it truly is a compliment
even though it many not sound like it at t...............I was wrong about you.

after meeting you in person i have realized the dangers in listening to gossip.......so let this be a lesson to everyone out there tooo....listening to others who were obviously jealous for something made me not even want to come and talk to you  even though your horse was so gorgeous i was about peeing my pants.

the point im trying to make is this...im so glad you said hi to me and we started talking because i soon realized what a really super cool and sweet person you are.

i know that sounds so totally dumb, but you are sooooooooo different than what i had in my head.

im so glad we met and i will definitely take you up on
your lesson offer.

thank you so much for the helpful advice too...it really
made alot of sense and i havn't stopped
thinking about it.
the more i think about it-the more excited i am to
get my horse out and start doing your stuff.
    thanks for that.
i reeeely needed that spark to move my lazy butt.  :0)

so even though this goofy letter may
not sound like a compliment,    please know it is
and how wonderful i think you and clyde are.

i will shout it to the whole world to not be
 dumb and be gossipee.
this girl works hard and kiks butt  !

everyone loves her and she is very smiley and nice.

she helps people all the time free of charge
and she knows alot about alot of things.

there sara..how that for a cheerleader  ?  LOL

 well gotta make dinner now....

please write an article on your
awesome website about proper stirrup length.

every one i talk to tells me something different,
im ready to pull my hair out.

i figure since you won hunt seat and saddle seat
all at one show, you must have this figured out.

thanks again for letting me babble on about stuff.  i look forward to your reply. sincerely Julie W.
